White Leek /kg

White Leek is sold fresh by the kilogram, a mild, oniony vegetable with white and pale green stalks. Its flavour mellows the longer it is cooked into a dish.

• Slice and sauté as a base for soups and braises
• Use in quiches, gratins or simmered with potatoes
• Rinse thoroughly between the layers to remove trapped soil
• Refrigerate in a bag and use within about a week once you bring it home
