Chitose Sanchoku Pointed Cabbage is sold per kg and is a cone-shaped cabbage with tender, sweet leaves suited to quick cooking. Its cone shape and looser leaf structure make it cook faster and taste sweeter than a standard round cabbage.

• Shred raw into slaws or quick salads
• Stir-fry, steam or braise as a side dish
• Remove tougher outer leaves before use
• Refrigerate the cabbage in a bag and use within about a week.
