Method
Step 1 of 7
Marinate the prawns with harissa seasoning, oil, garlic, shallots and salt.
Step 2 of 7
Sear prawns with butter until colour changes.
Step 3 of 7
Slice a hotdog bun in half (lengthwise) and spread 1-2 tablespoons of the liquid from the cooked prawns.
Step 4 of 7
Add about 2 dollops of butter and toast for 5 mins at 160C.
Step 5 of 7
In a bowl, add prawns, mayonnaise and a pinch of harissa. Mix well.
Step 6 of 7
Scoop prawns onto hotdog buns and serve with parsley (optional).
Step 7 of 7
Serve while it’s still hot!
Ingredients
1) 500g of Peeled & Deveined Prawns
2) 2 Cloves of Garlic (finely chopped)
3) 2 Medium Sized Shallots (finely chopped)
4) 1 tsp of Harissa Seasoning
5) ¼ tsp of Salt
6) A splash of Fish Sauce
7) 80g Kewpie Mayonnaise (or enough to coat all of the prawns)
8) Parsley (for garnishing)
